Here we have a vintage Hamilton Murray in a 10K yellow goldfilled case with 18K solid gold numerals and markers on a sterling silver dial. The Murray has quite a distinctive case shape with lugs pointing outwards from both ends and a notch on each of the four sides. It almost has a peculiar resemblance to a scarab. The case only has light scratches and the dial exhibits mild signs of aging when viewed up close. Powering this watch is a size 8/0 grade 747 manual hand winding movement with 17 jewels that has been serviced and timed for 24 hours. Included are brand new alligator calf straps and new acrylic crystal. The inside back case reads: Murray, Hamilton W. Co., Lancaster PA., 10K goldfilled, R427464, Star W.C. Co. This watch sets and winds smoothly measuring approximately 29mm (at the widest point) x 39mm on overall length.
