Circa 1956.
This is an excellent example of the Omega Constellation 2852 automatic chronometre watch in a 18k solid yellow gold case with dauphine style hands on a two-tone marker dial. The dial is in marvelous condition and so is the hefty 18K solid gold case with the infamous Constellation observatory logo seen on the outside of the snap back case. Very light scratches (if even noteworthy) are seen only under magnification as this watch is in tip top shape. Powering this watch is a genuine Omega calibre 505 automatic movement with 24 jewels that runs strong and kept good time over a 24 hour period. The case measures approximately 35mm wide (excluding the crown) x 44mm in overall length. The watch is quadruple labeled by Omega as seen on the dial, crown, case and movement.
