Produced for only 2 consecutive years is this vintage Hamilton Allison in a 14K solid natural gold curved case with a raised gold figure dial and true to form alpha style hands. This beautiful watch measures approximately 22mm wide (excluding the crown) x 42mm from lug end to lug end. The overall condition of this timepiece is superb with no personalizations or engravings and only light scratches on the case seen when magnified. This watch was designed with as slight curve enabling it to sit comfortably on the wearer's wrist. Vintage Hamilton catalogs and ads referred to this watch as having the "exclusive spherical dial" with 18K applied gold numerals. The Hamilton logo, the subsidiary seconds register and outer minute track are lined in black enamel. Powering this watch is a size 14/0 grade 982 movement with 19 jewels that has been cleaned, oiled, and timed for 24 hours. Serial on movement: J40898. The glass crystal is brad new and I.W. Suisse genuine lizard straps in brown complete the package on this great vintage wristwatch.
