Here is a vintage Hamilton one year wonder called the Palisade in a 14K yellow gold-filled case with a embossed gold numeral dial and blued steel lance style hands. Yellow Palisade models are harder to come by as only 1501 were produced compared to the 2464 that were made in white according to Hamilton records. Beneath the dial is a 6/0 size Hamilton grade 987-F movement with 17 jewels that runs strong and kept good time over a 24 hour period. The inside back case reads: Hamilton Watch Co., Fahys, 14K Goldfilled,795585. This watch case measures approximately 29mm wide x 35mm in overall length.
