Here is a vintage Bulova flip top photo locket watch in a 10K rolled gold plated case with a raised gold Arabic numeral dial and gold-tone moderne hands. The case is in excellent condition and the crystal is clear and clean. The Bulova name is seen on the dial, crown, case, and movement and the watch sets and winds smoothly. The lever located at the bottom of the case actuates the springloaded movement housing when depressed revealing a tray intended for a "cut to size" photograph. Underneath the dial is a Bulova Watch Co. 8AC manual hand winding movement with 17 jewels that has been cleaned, oiled, and bench timed for 24 hours. The inside of the hinged back case reads: Bulova, Fifth Ave, New York and on the reverse it reads: 10K rolled gold plate, BULOVA, LD 3189735. This watch measures approximately 23mm wide (excluding the crown) x 40mm from lug end to lug end.
