Circa 1974.
Here we have a vintage Hamilton Day 'N Date ST-3500 in a 10K solid yellow case accompanied by a gilt dial with luminous baton hands and a red sweeping second hand. This model features an oblong case with a round crystal and a day and date window at the 3 o'clock marker. Actuating the day and date function is simply accomplished by pulling out the crown to the first stop with a clockwise rotation for the day and a counter-clockwise rotation for the date. The furthest stop when pulling the crown sets the hands. The gilt dial marked "Hamilton Masterpiece" is free and clear of any discoloration and the luminous dots at each hour marker is intact. Powering this watch is a Hamilton grade 800 movement with 17 jewels that runs strong and has been bench timed for 24 hours. The inside back case reads: Hamilton W. Co., 10K Gold, P822452, Star W.C. Co. This watch measures approximately 38mm wide (excluding the crown) x 38mm from lug end to lug end. The watch is quadruple signed by Hamilton as seen on the dial, crown, movement, and case.
