Here we have a vintage Hamilton Brandon in a 10K natural gold-filled case with 18K gold numerals on a NOS black dial. The Brandon is the first "sealed" model from the Hamilton CLD series and the outside case of this watch is engraved with the U.S. Patent number 2467062 for the invention of a tight fitting case that keeps dust and moisture in addition to the case design where the movement is accessed from the front of the watch as opposed to the back. This watch sets and winds smoothly and the case measures approximately 25mm wide x 43mm in length. Powering this watch is a size 14/0 Hamilton grade 980 manual hand winding movement with 17 jewels that has been serviced and kept good time after a test period of 24 hours.
