Presented here is a timeless vintage Hamilton Seckron, aka "Doctor's Watch" in a 14K natural gold-filled case with a white dual dial and blued steel baton hands. Pre-1940 models came in 14K gold-filled as the later models came in 10K gold-filled. This watch has a 14K gold-filled case with a white dial consisting of a large sub-second hand so a doctor or nurse could easily see when timing was needed, as for taking temperatures or other health related issues in which a doctor or nurse would need to time. The watch sets and winds smoothly thanks to a genuine Hamilton grade 980B manual hand wind movement with 17 jewels that has been serviced and kept good time over a 24 hour period. The inside back case reads: Hamilton Watch Company, Lancaster PA., Wadsworth, 14K Gold Filled, Pend't Pat'd 5-3-27, H072577. This watch measures approximately 23mm in width (excluding the crown) x 39mm from lug end to end.
