Here we have a custom made round case in 14K white gold with a diamond-set dial. This is a fairly large watch (for vintage standards) measuring at approximately 32mm wide x 38mm from top to bottom. The dial features prong set diamonds at each hour marker with rows of three at 12, 3, 6, and 9 for a total of 20 diamonds. Beneath the dial is a high grade 770 manual hand winding movement with 22 jewels that has been serviced and kept good time over a 24 hour period. The outside back case reads 14K FR&S while the inside has no engravings. Commonly referred to as "jobber cases" or "contract cases," these custom timepieces were not manufactured by Hamilton but instead were re-cased by independent jewelers using precious metals made to fit genuine Hamilton movements and typically embellished with fancy diamond dials.
