Originally designed for the sportsman, this vintage Hamilton Flintridge features a tonneau-shaped case with a protective cover operated by a small projection in the upper right hand lug that controls the opening and closing of the cover. When the pressure is released, the cover flies back into position. The case is 14K white and measures approximately 28mm wide (excluding the crown) x 41mm in overall length. Powering this watch is a genuine Hamilton grade 987-F manual hand winding movement with 17 jewels that has been recently serviced and kept good time over a 24 hour period. This watch sets and winds smoothly and has been fitted with a new glass crystal as well. The inside back case reads: Patent Applied For, Hamilton W. Co., 14K, Lancaster PA., 149370.
