This vintage Hamilton Odyssee is the first version produced for only one year with a dial consisting of triangular luminous hands and round luminous hour markers. This early model was not shown in the catalogs and this particular watch includes the original mesh strap with a Hamilton signed buckle. The stainless steel asymmetric case looks sharp and the watch sets and winds smoothly with a case measuring approximately 37.5mm all around. The outer back reads: Stainless Steel, Fontainebleau, Brevet No. 487.452, 64066-3. Hamilton is quadruple signed on this watch as seen on the crown, dial, case, and movement. The inside back case reads: Hamilton Watch Co. Swiss. Only a simple 90 degree turn is sufficient to release the back case which will provide access to the unadjusted Swiss Hamilton grade 694A automatic movement with 17 jewels that runs strong and kept good time over a 24 hour period.
