Introduced in 1924, this beautiful vintage Hamilton Cushion features a sterling silver case with luminous Arabic numerals on a refinished sterling silver dial. With a round viewing window and no sub-seconds chapter, this is the earliest version of the 6/0 size Hamilton Cushions that followed the 0 size pocket watch size wristwatches. This is a beautiful sterling silver timepiece with a newly fitted glass crystal. The watch sets and winds smoothly and is powered by a grade 986A manual hand winding movement with 17 jewels that has been serviced and kept good time over a 24 hour period. The inside case is marked: Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster PA., Sterling, 286622. This watch measures approximately 26mm wide (excluding the crown) x 33mm from lug end to lug end.
