Here we have a rare vintage Hamilton Rutledge in a crisp hard platinum two-piece L&W case featuring 18K Rhodium plated gold Arabic numerals on a sterling silver dial. Beneath the dial is a genuine Hamilton grade 982 manual hand wind movement with 19 jewels that has been serviced and kept good time over a 24 hour period. The inside back case is marked: Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster P.A., Irid.Plat., 82423. The watch sets and winds smoothly and has been fitted with a vintage gray calfskin strap. The case measures approximately 22mm wide x 37mm in overall length.
