Circa 1929-1930.
Presented here is an exclusive vintage asymmetric Hamilton Spur in a 14K solid white gold case with roman numerals as hour markers in black enamel applied directly to the top bezel. Believed to be Hamilton's first asymmetric model, this Spur features a refinished sterling silver dial with a large black enamel minute track and a smaller round sub-second chapter with correct blued steel spear hands. Included is a brand new glass crystal and brand new genuine lizard straps in brown completing this luxurious timepiece. This Hamilton Spur sets and winds smoothly thanks to a grade 979 manual hand winding movement with 19 jewels that has been cleaned, oiled, and kept good time over a 24 hour period. Case measurements are approximately 29mm in width (excluding the crown) x 32mm from lug end to lug end. The inside back case reads: Hamilton Watch Co., 14K, Lancaster PA., 112781. The Spur is a highly sought after model by Hamilton collectors and vintage Art-Deco watch collectors alike so don't let this one slip away!
