Here we have a vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre Futurematic watch in a 10K yellow gold-filled case featuring a black dial with two subsidiary dials, one at 9:00 to display the power reserve and another as a seconds indicator at 3:00. A very unique hallmark of this watch is the absence of a crown. There is a small wheel on the back case that is used to set the hands but the watch cannot be manually wound. This was an intentional design by JLC to highlight the capabilities of this fully automatic movement. Both the power reserve and seconds dial work fine and the watch runs strong keeping good time over a 24 hour period. Beneath the dial is a caliber 497 automatic movement with 17 jewels and a serial number of 958809. The case has some light scratches and measures at approximately 35mm wide x 44mm in overall length. The inside back case reads: 10K Goldfilled, Cased and Timed in U.S.A. by LeCoultre. *NS
