This is a vintage Hamilton Ladies Tonneau model in a 14K white gold-filled case powered by a genuine Hamilton grade 986A manual hand winding movement with 17 jewels that has been cleaned and kept good time over a 24 hour period. Early version of this model as seen here used the 986A movement while 1927 and later models housed the 987 movement which included the sub-seconds chapter. The 3-piece case features a heavily engraved bezel and comes fitted with a new glass crystal and brand new straps. The dial has some blemishes as seen in the photos which are appropriate considering the age of this watch. The inside back case reads: Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster P.A., 14K Goldfilled, 188531. The case measures approximately 27mm wide x 32mm in overall length.
