Here is a vintage Hamilton Galen in a 10K yellow rolled gold plated case with a stainless steel back and gold markers on a sterling silver dial. The bracelet is an original for this model and the Dauphine style hands are true to form. The case measures approximately 27mm wide x 35mm from lug end to lug end. The Galen case has a slight resemblance to an old television set with a striped pattern on the top and bottom that continually extend onto the bracelet. This watch sets and winds smoothly and is powered by a Hamilton grade 686 manual hand winding movement with 17 jewels that runs strong and kept good time over a 24 hour period.
