This is a stunning piece by Hamilton called a Drake with flared lugs and sharp edges in a 14K natural gold case with 18K gold numerals, markers, and squares on a refinished sterling silver dial. The case has some tiny wear holes on the bezel high points and light scratches seen under magnification. The case measures approximately 24mm wide (excluding the crown) x 39mm from lug end to lug end. The watch sets and winds smoothly and keeps excellent time thanks to a grade 754 Hamilton movement with 19 jewels that runs strong and kept good time over a 24 hour period. The inside back case reads: DRAKE, Hamilton W. Co., Lancaster PA., 14K Gold, B00557. Brand new DeBeers lizard straps and a new domed acrylic crystal complete this distinguished timepiece that is a great addition to any Hamilton collection.
