Here is a fine Hamilton rectangular white 14K gold manual-wind men’s wrist watch with hooded lugs and a diamond dial. The watch is signed on its dial and movement. The case is marked “14K” on the inside. The watch has a two-piece rectangular body made of 14K white gold with a snap-on case back, diamond dial, and fancy hooded lugs. The case measures approximately 21mm wide x 40mm in overall length. Similar to the Top Hat models, these custom jeweler designed "contract" or jobber" cases usually came in 14K, 18K and Platinum. The 14K case looks sharp and is in great condition overall showing signs of occasional wear. The dial appears original, and shows some patina appropriate for its age. Powering this watch is a genuine Hamilton grade 980 manual hand winding movement with 17 jewels that has been cleaned and kept good time over a 24 hour period.
