Here we have a beautiful vintage Hamilton Hastings in a 14K white goldfilled case featuring a nicely re-finished luminous dial with skeleton hands and a newly fitted glass crystal. Although the Hastings may appear very similar to the Greenwich, the bezel on the Hastings is much thinner with no "steps" which is the main difference between the two watches. The case looks sharp and the watch sets and winds smoothly. Beneath the dial is a genuine Hamilton grade 987-F manual hand wind movement with 17 jewels that has been serviced and kept good time over a 24 hour period. The inside back case reads: H, 6/0, Wadsworth, Quality 14 Karat Goldfilled, 0551866. The case measures approximately 28mm (excluding the crown) x 34mm from lug end to lug end.
