Here we have a vintage Hamilton Laird in a 10K yellow rolled gold case with a stainless steel back. The case looks sharp and the watch sets and winds smoothly keeping good time over a 24 hour period. Although there is very light discoloration on the dial, the gold embossed numerals and markers still look very good. This watch measures at approximately 26mm wide x 36mm in length and comes with the original bracelet. Underneath the dial is an Illinois manual hand winding movement with 17 jewels that runs strong. When the Accumatic movements made their debut in 1956, a lot of the excess Illinois movements that Hamilton had in stock were used in Hamilton models. The inside back case reads: Laird, Stainless Steel Back, 10K RGP Bezel, S&W, Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster PA., S936603.
