Often referred to as the Hamilton model with the "coin edge," this stunning Hamilton Boone features a 14K natural gold-filled case with a hard to find two-tone enamel dial, correct Baton style blued steel hands, and a distinctive reeded edge on both sides. With a slightly curved case, it was designed to fit snugly against the wrist. Overall this piece looks sharp and runs strong thanks to a recently serviced Hamilton grade 980 manual hand wind movement with 17 jewels that kept good time over a 24 hour period. The watch sets and winds smoothly and has been fitted with a new glass crystal. The inside back case reads: Hamilton W. Co., Lancaster PA., 14K Goldfilled, 374454. This fine wristwatch measures approximately 22mm wide (excluding the crown) x 37mm from lug end to lug end.
