Circa 1932-1934.
Here is a beautifully designed Hamilton wristwatch from the 1930's known as the Mount Vernon in a 14k white gold-filled case featuring an enamel numeral dial  with correct "spade" hands and a distinctive T-bar lug design requiring the band to be notched for fitment. The dial was professionally refinished to its original days of glory with its black enamel numerals and sub seconds track looking very sharp. This watch sets and winds smoothly with only light scratches to the case typical of vintage timepieces.  Beneath the dial is a grade 987-F manual hand winding movement with 17 jewels that runs strong and kept good time over a 24 hour period.  Serial on movement: 4208926.  When you look inside, you can see the Hamilton factory engraving on the inside of the back snap as well as the initials "S&W" which stands for Schwab and Wuispard, the New York case maker that was one of Hamilton's choices to manufacture cases for them.  This watch measures approximately 28mm wide (excluding the crown) x 41mm from lug end to lug end.
