Here we have a rare vintage Hamilton Andrews in a 14K natural gold handmade case featuring a refinished applied gold numeral dial and gold tone leaf style hands. The Andrews model is part of the Hamilton Explorer Series which also included the Wilkinson, Byrd, Livingstone, and Ericsson models. According to Hamilton records, only 1138 were produced in yellow gold. This watch sets and winds smoothly and is powered by a genuine Hamilton grade 401 manual hand wind movement with 19 jewel that has been serviced and kept excellent time over a 24 hour period. This timepiece measures approximately 23mm wide x 37mm in overall length. The inside back case reads: H, 12/0, Wadsworth Quality, 14 Karat Solid Gold, 0192189.
