This timepiece is earliest version of the cushion where the bezel had a round opening and the dial did not have a seconds hand register. This is a remarkable watch inside and out with only light scratches on the case. Underneath the dial is a 6/0 size grade 986A manual hand wind movement with 17 jewels that has been serviced and kept good time over a 24 hour period. The inside case reads: Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster P.A., 14K, 1006XX. This watch measures approximately 27mm wide (excluding the crown) x 34mm from lug tip to lug tip.
