Produced for only one year is this stunning vintage Hamilton Preston with a peaked 14K natural gold case and complemental beveled crystal with 18K gold numerals, markers, and squares on an original sterling silver dial. The case condition is excellent with no wear on the bezel or high points typically seen on other vintage watches with sharp edges. It has been well kept over the years and shows only light scratches here and there. The case measures approximately 23mm wide (excluding the crown) x 38mm from lug end to lug end. The watch sets and winds smoothly and kept good time over a 24 hour period thanks to a grade 754 manual hand wind movement with 19 jewels that runs strong. The inside back case reads: DRAKE, Hamilton W. Co., Lancaster PA., 14K Gold, B00677.
