The Brock was a very popular model during its time. Released in 1939, it continued to be produced even after the war up until 1952. In 1940, Hamilton released a coral gold version which was made for only 1 year. Here is a luxurious vintage Hamilton Brock in a 14K solid coral gold case featuring a two-tone coral dial with baton style hands and a new glass crystal. The Brock is simple and elegant with its fine lines and extended lugs giving it an attractively sophisticated appearance. The Roman numerals and tracks are all done in enamel and look sharp against the coral background. The watch sets and winds smoothly and beneath the dial sits a grade 982 Medallion manual hand winding movement with 19 jewels that has been serviced and kept good time over a 24 hour period. The inside of the back case reads: Hamilton W. Co., 14K, Lancaster PA., 866344. The watch measures approximately 21mm in width (excluding the crown) x 37mm from lug to lug.
