Here is an ultra rare Art Deco inspired model made by Hamilton called the "Glendale" in a 14K yellow gold case with a luminous dial and luminous skeleton hands. This beautiful three-piece case is meticulously engraved on both sides of the bezel with a ribbed lug design that combines luxury and elegance. Hamilton records show that a mere 97 of these were produced in yellow gold and only 209 were made in white gold. Considered the holy grail of early Hamilton solid gold case models, the Glendale is a scarce model that almost never surfaces on the market due to it's rarity. Powering the watch is a genuine Hamilton size 6/0 grade 979 manual hand wind movement with 19 jewels that has been serviced and kept excellent time over a 24 hour period. The inside back case reads: Hamilton Watch Co., 14K, Lancaster, P.A., 141350. The case measures approximately 29mm wide x 32mm in overall length.
