Offered for sale is this vintage Hamilton Secometer watch in a 10K natural gold-filled case with 18K applied gold numerals on a refinished sterling silver dial and a sweep second hand. This is the first of three Secometer models powered by a genuine Hamilton grade 987S movement with 17 jewels that features a hack function whenever the crown is pulled out to set the hands. The two later Secometer models (B & C) did not have this hacking function. This is a charming timepiece measuring at approximately 28mm wide x 36mm in overall length. The inside back case reads: Hamilton W. Co., Lancaster PA., 10K Goldfilled, S632124. The watch sets and winds smoothly, has been recently serviced, and is keeping good time over a 24 hour period.
