Presented here is a vintage Hamilton Langley in a 14K white gold case released in 1929 in which only 229 pieces were specifically made for Packard award watches. Advertised as "a distinguished design for the man of today" as well as "a distinguished model for business or sports wear," this Langley features an applied gold numeral dial with a black enamel minute track and sub-seconds chapter coupled with blued steel arrow hands. This is a special presentation watch from the Packard Motor Car Company for a decade of service as seen on the back. The unpolished case looks sharp and is in superb condition. The dial, case, and movement are all signed Hamilton. Powering this timepiece is a Hamilton grade 979-F manual hand wind movement with 19 jewels that runs strong and kept great time over a 24 hour period. The inside back case reads: Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster PA., 14K Solidarity White Gold, 628972. This timepiece measures approx. 28mm in width (excluding the crown) x 38mm in overall length.
