Powering this watch is a genuine Hamilton grade 987-F manual hand wind movement with 17 jewels that runs strong and kept good time over a 24 hour period. The inside of the back case reads: Hamilton Watch Co., Fahys, 14K Gold Filled, 389874. The watch sets and winds smoothly and measures at approximately 28mm wide x 34mm from lug end to lug end. There is some wear on the bezel corners as seen in the photos.
