Here we have an vintage Hamilton Secometer-C in a 14K solid yellow gold case with a silver dial consisting of applied gold Arabic numerals and dots. The dial also features numerals at 5 minute intervals. This presentation watch from the Standard Oil Company of California for 30 years of service has been well preserved over the years and comes with a new acrylic crystal. The gold leaf style hands and arrow tip sweeping second hand are all true to form. The Hamilton grade 748 manual hand winding movement with 18 jewels runs strong and kept great time over a 24 hour period. The watch sets and winds smoothly and measures approximately 29mm wide x 38mm fron lug end to lug end. The inside back case reads: Secometer-C, Hamilton W.Co., Lancaster PA, 14K Gold, S224857, S&W.
