Circa 1941-1953.
Featured here is an elegant luxury timepiece from Hamilton called the Gordon in a 18K natural solid gold case with 18K gold markers and 3 diamonds on a two-tone butler finished sterling silver dial. This is a catalogued 3 diamond dial that's quite hard to come by. The elongated rectangular case design and scrolled hooded lugs makes this a very unique watch which has been well preserved considering its age. The case looks sharp with only light scratches and all hands are the correct style for the timpiece. Powering the watch is a Medallion series 982M movement with 19 jewels that has been serviced and kept good time over a 24 hour period. The crown sets and winds smoothly and the watch is fitted with a new acrylic crystal. The inside back case reads: GORDON, Hamilton W. Co., 18K, Lancaster PA., S336641, S&W. The case measures approximately 23mm in width (excluding the crown) x 38mm from lug tip to lug tip.
