Here we have a vintage Hamilton Secometer in a 10K yellow gold-filled case with 18K applied gold numerals on a sterling silver dial. Advertised as the "A sturdy and dependable watch for doctors, radio technicians, research engineers and others who require split-minute timing," this watch sets and winds smoothly with the hack function fully operational when the crown is pulled out. The excellent condition military style dial features numerals at 5 minute intervals and the applied gold numerals look sharp. The case looks marvelous and measures at approximately 28mm wide x 35mm in overall length. Powering this watch is a genuine Hamilton grade 987S manual hand winding movement with 17 jewels that runs strong and kept great time over a 24 hour period. The inside back case reads: Hamilton W.Co., Lancaster PA., 10K Goldfilled, A.G., S251456.
