Powering this watch is a genuine Hamilton grade 982 manual hand winding movement with 19 jewels that runs strong and kept good time over a 24 hour test period. There is some wear at the opening notch on the back case but besides that the case is pretty sharp. The inside back case reads: Hamilton W. Co., Lancaster PA., 14K goldfilled, S684028.
