Produced for only 1 year, this rare bird called the Hamilton Donavan features a 14K solid gold case with a mirror-lapped surface and an applied gold numeral dial. Originally released with a cord band, this beautiful watch features centered lugs and gucci style lug screws securing a brand new genuine lizard strap in dark brown by I.W. Suisse. The case is in great condition with only light scratches seen when magnified. The lance style hands are true to form and there are no personalizations or engravings on the outer back case. The mirror-lapped surface remains lustrous after all these years and looks astonishingly elegant from all angles. Slightly curved to fit the wearer's wrist, this timepiece sets and winds smoothly and includes a brand new glass crystal as well. The heartbeat of this Donavan is a Hamilton grade 982 manual hand winding movement with 19 jewels that runs strong and has been and time tested for 24 hours. The inside back case reads: Hamilton W. Co., 14K, Lancaster PA., 291814. This watch measures approximately 22mm wide (excluding the crown) x 40mm from lug end to lug end.
