Here is a nice looking vintage Waltham watch in a 14K solid green gold hinged case with a luminous dial that has aged gracefully through the years. The steel blued hands comprise of a moderne hour hand and a breguet minute hand that may or may not be true to form as little information about this watch is known. The bezel is connected to the back case via the hinge at the top of the watch keeping the two parts inseparable. There is a button at the bottom of the watch that releases the back case revealing the movement housing which is made of nickel. Powering this watch is a Lady Waltham movement that runs strong and was only off by a few minutes over a 24 hour period. Serial on movement: 558139. The inside back case which features a circular brushed pattern reads: 14K Solidarity, 14K 585/1000 FINE, 556169, W. This watch sets and winds smoothly and measures at approximately 25mm in width (excluding the crown) x 38mm from lug end to lug end.
