Featured here is a vintage Waltham wristwatch with a contract case made of 14K solid gold embellished with a wheat pattern design. The stunning dial showcases enlarged numerals and skeleton hands colored in unison. Those with discerning eyes will notice that the minute track has three markers instead of four in-between the numbers but despite of that, the watch has been tested for 24 hours and has kept good time. Powering this watch is a Waltham USA 15 jewel 26/720898 movement that has been cleaned, oiled and timed for 24 hours. This is a flip case that opens from the bottom back end of the watch and hinged at the top. The middle section holding the movement is placed into the "tray" when inserting the movement post disassembly. There are very light scratches on the back case which is free of personalizations and engravings. The beautiful timepiece sets and winds smoothly with a locked stem system that remains in the middle section of the case. This intricately carved Waltham contract case is sure to please any vintage watch collector. The watch measures approx. 26mm (excluding the crown) x 42mm from lug end to lug end.
