Here is a beautifully designed Hamilton Watch from the 1930's. The watch is made of 14k yellow gold fill, features and enamel numeral dial and distinctive unusual lug design with a "Gucci Pin" spring bar to fasten the band to the case. The dial was professionally refinished to its original days of glory with its enamel Numerals, sub seconds track and new crystal. There are a few small dings on back snap, wear on back snap, some wear on sides. The 987-F 17 jewel movement was recently serviced and running strong. 1721of these watches were produced in 14K yellow gold by the Hamilton Watch Co and I always wonder how many survived? When you look inside, you can see the Hamilton factory engraving on the inside of the back snap as well as the initials "S&W, which stands for Schwab and Wuispard, the New York case maker that was one of Hamilton's choices to manufacture cases for them.
